The major goal of Workpackage 0 is to manage the project in order to achieve its goals, taking into account also the management of knowledge, of intellectual property and of other innovation-related activities arising in the project.
The project management of NOBEL phase 2 is compliant with the 3-Layers structure as reported in the IP CA EICTA. Specifically it is based on:
- Project Coordinator
- Project Board
- General Assembly
In particular, the Integrated Project NOBEL phase 2 is structured into five technical WPs. Each WP is coordinated by a WP Leader who is responsible for the co-ordination inside the WP checking that the activities are in track with the WP objectives and assuring the communication flow between the WPs. According to this structure the five WPs are expected to work in strict co-ordination providing each other with inputs and feedback to reach the overall goal of the project.
This Workpackage will coordinate the activities related to standardisation, done on a per-WP basis. Also the coordination of the dissemination activities (on a per-WP basis, including Project Web Site, participation to Conferences, organisation of Workshops and Events, etc) is the responsibility of WP0. WP0 will also be responsible for the coordination of communication with international bodies and other projects with or within the IST FP6).
Over the management of the workpackages, an appropriate project management will link together all the project components and maintain communications with the Commission each time it is needed.
Moreover WP0 will organize the Training and Demonstration activities of NOBEL phase 2
